Unlike any other shoe deodoriser, these super-absorbent ones were specially designed by a climbing instructor and his wife, sick of the constant nasty niff from his shoes that filled their flat. Boot Bananas, despite being made entirely from natural deodorising salts and minerals, were highly effective. They now needed an equally as impressive advertising campaign to get them noticed, not only by consumers but stockists too.
As part of the ‘Saving the world from fruity feet’ campaign, I wrote a dramatic and intense film script that created intrigue, while injecting plenty of fun and humour to align with the brand’s personality. This resulted in an impactful, engaging film that generated lots of organic shares.
Today, Boot Bananas are sold in over 150 stores worldwide. Not just off the back of the film, but it certainly helped put them on the map.
